TRC (HIGH BOOST) HEAD STUDS
We here at Temple Racing have seen a common problem with Headstuds. If you have ever encountered a blown head-gasket at higher boost levels we got the fix for you! We have seen an increase of SPLIT 12 point nuts on High Boost B series and K series engines. After a tear down inspection, we noticed the nuts on the head-studs were loose and upon inspection many were cracked! To remedy this issue we teamed up with ARP to bring to you a stronger Head-stud solution with a thicker 3mm Hex nut and matching washer. After testing we have seen NO ISSUE of headstud failure.
WE RECOMMEND THESE FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE BUILDING A MOTOR THAT WANT TO KEEP THE BOOST BELOW 35PSI AND AROUND 800HP. WE HAVE TAKEN THEM UP TO 900WHP BUT WE NOT RECOMMEND IT.
